Netflix’s many movies and shows have gained it a wide international audience. The streaming service has provided us with many riveting shows and movies over the years that have kept us on our toes. Squid Game from South Korea and Spain’s Money Heist are two examples of great shows. 2022 will be no different. After a record-breaking year on its global platform, it seems that Netflix will expand its global reach. We have listed some of this year’s most impressive international films on Netflix:
You can’t stop thinking
Original Title- Sans Repit
The film follows a French lieutenant as he tries to cover up a crime that he committed and ends up turning his life upside-down. Trailer teases that the corrupt cop will go to great lengths to cover up an accident. Someone has been watching him and threatens him to do the same. He will he be able save his life? Or, the Big Brotherwatching will play the karma cards. This international action drama will premiere on February 25, only on Netflix.
The Invisible Thread
Invisible Thread is the story of Leone, an Italian teenager and his family. It was written by Marco S. Puccioni. His three-man family includes himself, his father and two other fathers. We will see him fall for someone and experience major ups, downs, and family problems throughout the film.
What appears to be a family drama turns into a major twist when an invisible thread or should we say DNA, becomes apparent. His dads are on the brink of separation and he discovers that his biological father is not known. This will likely be revealed by Netflix in 2022 as the drama will air on our screens.
One simple question
Alessandro Cattelan’s One Simple question rule is to not eat animals. He has seen cartoons growing up. That’s not the purpose of the movie. Cattelan leads us on a journey to happiness by asking where is the best place to start?
We will travel in Roberto Baggio’s car to Paolo Sorrentino’s directing. We will also pass through golf courses with Gianluca vialli. Geppi Cucciari and Alessandro will be camping with us. This is not all. We have many more adventures, concerts and competitions to enjoy as we embark on this journey with Alessandro Cattelan, March 18, only on Netflix
Clark
Up for some Clark Olofsson Syndrome? Netflix will tell the story of Sweden’s infamous celebrity-gangster and the man who gave rise to the term “The Stockholm Syndrome” in this year’s Netflix Original Movie.
This drama is based on the true-life story of Clark Olofsson, the master manipulator. It will take you back to the 60s and 70s as well as into the dark of the late 70s & 80s. Bill Skarsgard plays the title character Clark who manipulated the whole of Sweden into falling in love with him. He was convicted of drug trafficking, attempted murder, theft and numerous bank robberies. This crime drama will give a fictionalized account of the lies and truths contained in the autobiography of this diddler. It seems that Anna Delvey isn’t the only one feeling this year.
We’d love to hear from you in the comments section about which International film on Netflix has tempted you the most.
