Watercolor backgrounds are awesome! You could use pencils, pens, markers, watercolors, or even waterlilies. Some people even paint with waterlilies or other paints without markers at all. This way they can just use their imagination and creativity to come up with really cool designs that would look incredible in any type of environment.
Watercolor Background Ideas
The most important thing I have learned from all of this is that you don’t need to be super artistic or trained to create beautiful watercolor background paintings. All you need is to have patience, be willing to practice, use your imagination, and have a lot of fun. And of course, watercolor paper is essential since it gives you so many options when it comes to color choices. Once you get started on your first few paintings you’ll soon realize that nothing is stopping you from becoming an artist. Just keep practicing and learning and soon you’ll start coming up with your own unique watercolor background ideas.
What if you don’t know how to do any of this stuff? Well, it’s not the end of the world because there are plenty of classes you can take that will teach you the basics. One thing is for sure, you can always learn how to paint by taking a course through an art college or through online video instruction (which is much cheaper than a real art class). There are also books you can get that will teach you the basics of watercolor painting. One of my personal favorites is the watercolor journal of Jan Davis. I think it’s absolutely beautiful and it would look great in any home.
